Hey there! We are so glad to meet you!
As a wife, homeschool mom, and business woman, like so many others, life is BUSY and has been a tad stressful at times! About two years ago, my husband and I started praying that God use our family differently to honor Him. I felt a calling to leave the corporate world and my longstanding consulting business behind to do something that would not only make me excited to get up in the morning, but would also allow my oldest son Quinton (and his younger siblings) to be able to pursue their passion for fishing, wildlife education, working with children, and sharing the gospel with others.

My name is Christina Higley and this is my oldest son Quinton Louis. And you guessed it - We LOVE fishing!!! Our family of five is originally from Western New York - Rochester, NY to be exact, but we now call Winter Springs and the beautiful state of Florida our home.
Growing up fishing on the Erie Canal, the Finger Lakes of Western New York, and the Great Lakes to now falling in love with the amazing fresh and salt water fishing throughout the breathtaking state of Florida, fishing and being outdoors has and always will be a very big part of our family's story.
From the time I was young, fishing has always held a very special place in my heart. I remember so fondly fishing with my grandfather and my dad as a child. Many beautiful memories were created on the water during those formative years that I will cherish forever.
When I became a mom and had three kids of my own, fishing was something my husband and I were so excited to teach our children and make memories doing as a family. It has also always been a great way to get our family outdoors (and away from the constant use of electronics)! Most importantly, it has allowed our entire family to slow down and take in God's beauty and give Him thanks for all of His wonderful creations.

Fishing is one of those things that hooks you (no pun intended) and naturally slows you down. Whether it is an outlet for myself to decompress and spend time alone in prayer or I am heading out for an evening fishing adventure with Quinton to just catch up and chat about his life, or taking all three of my kids and their friends out for an afternoon at the community pond, fishing has blessed our family immensely and we hope that it does the same for your family as well!
Quinton and I, along with our family, are so excited to bring Take Me Fishing to the Greater Orlando community! A way to get kids out in nature while learning new fishing skills, making some new friends, and learning all about the beautiful world God has blessed us with.
